postheadericon Da Beach at Waikiki – A 5 minute Walk

Walk about 5 minutes from Honu Hale straight down to Waikiki Beach and this is where you will end up.   Scroll around this cool Google street level point of view photo montage…its like your almost there.   This beach is very popular and populated. Great for people watching as well as viewing and doing, surfing, paddle boarding, outrigger canoeing, kayaking and simply swimming.

postheadericon Great Hawaii Vistors Calendar of Events

This is the official calendar of the Hawaii Visitors Bureau at GoHawaii.com. It has the big must see events that will really give you a taste of Hawaii (sometimes literally…there is usually local food at many of these events). Find out what’s happening during your stay and come join the local Hawaiian people in celebrating the diversity and richness of these islands.

postheadericon Honu Hale Logo

I was working on a client’s logo today and found a great font site called fontspace. I was looking for something natural, organic, Hawaiian etc.

Well I ended up downloading a number of free fonts and found one I thought would hold the spirit of Honu, the green Hawaiian sea turtle who is the namesake and  symbol of our Green Hawaiian condo.

Here is is! The Honu itself is from the ancient Hawaiian petroglyph form found engraved in lava stones throughout the islands.

It is swimming through the water in place of the O in Honu.  There are several places in Hawaii where you can see Honu swimming when you go snorkeing or scuba diving. I have seen one right out from San Souci beach in Waikiki.

Hawaiian Vacation Rental

I am thrilled that after only a few days we have a group of Canadian’s booked for next February (I guess you couldn’t argue with their timing) and a business woman from Northern California who regularly comes out to surf Waikiki!

That’s the power of the Internet and our partner VRBO as well as that list belonging to Craig.
